HATA Tennis Program - TRAINING
Building Skills, Confidence & Community Through Tennis.
Ages: Open to junior youth (5 years and older) and community members of all ages
Levels: Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced
Sessions: Ten (10) months out of the year, adjusted for seasonal weather conditions.
Focus Areas: Observational assessment of player skill & aptitude, skill development, physical fitness, mental toughness, strategy, and sportsmanship.
HATA Weekly Schedule (Determined by zip code)
2 days per week. Check calendar for schedule
Every other week - 3 days per week, including 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday). Check calendar for schedule


Beginner Program: Foundations of Tennis
Goal:
Introduce fundamental skills in a fun, engaging way while building confidence on the court.
Phase 1: Introduction to Tennis

Proper grip techniques (Eastern, Continental, Western)

Basic strokes (forehand, backhand, volleys)
